Here we go again.
This is only about my 3rd attempt at starting and keeping a blog. Good intentions only go so far, and my last attempts were not fueled by much more than that. This time, this website is here to fill a need -- my need to be heard and recognized in cyberspace.
Okay, it's not that either. Mostly I just need a place to write things down. Programming tips to remember, progress points on my projects, and a log of repairs to the Gremlin. I'll also post some of my favorite photos up here, and hopefully that will get me back into photography.
The reality of blogs is that there are a about a trillion of them, and far fewer serious readers than writers. I really don't expect this to be one of those blogs that gets quoted on the news, or generate enough traffic to sell ad space. I'm just a person with a Drupal blog about the little things which, though important and interesting to me, are on the whole meaningless to the rest of the world. That probably means this whole site may be equated to a man talking to himself. However, somebody once told me I was the most interesting person she had ever met. I'm not completely sure what that means, but it sounds cool to me. If it turns out that I actually am an interesting person, and this website is useful for somebody besides me, well, I guess that's a bonus.
